Mr. Willah J. Mudolo is a visionary leader with a lifelong passion for transforming Africa. From a young age, he has championed the belief that every African child should have access to education and that even the remotest villages should enjoy decent housing, clean water and quality healthcare. He envisions Africa as a global economic powerhouse, where resources are utilized equitably to serve the public interest and foster prosperity for all.

 

Mr. Mudolo is committed to the ambitious goals of the Africa 2063 Agenda and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA). His vision includes enhancing Africa’s security and creating robust synergies and collaborations between Africa and the rest of the world, ensuring sustainable development and global peace in line with United Nations principles.

A self-made and internationally successful businessman, Mr. Mudolo has held senior executive roles in construction, oil, and consulting firms

He is a seasoned entrepreneur and business startup specialist in emerging markets, with expertise in Project Development, Mining, Agriculture, Energy and Petroleum, Real Estate, and Education. As a director of numerous companies in mining, real estate, and agriculture, Mr. Mudolo has extensive consulting experience in investment, private banking, and commercial banking. He has provided financial advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and governments and possesses deep knowledge in private placement programs, IPOs, microfinance institutions, risk management, audit, strategic management, and accounting.

Mr. Mudolo holds several degrees from prestigious British universities, including an MBA in Finance and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and an MSc in Finance & Accounting from The University of Salford.

As a philanthropist, Mr. Mudolo is deeply committed to charitable causes across Africa. He founded the W.J. Mudolo Foundation with his family and business partners, aiming to maximize development opportunities for Africans. The foundation focuses on healthcare initiatives, scholarship schemes, water and sanitation projects, youth empowerment programs, climate change and Environment, leadership development, and community well-being.

A profound thinker on Zambia’s future and Africa’s place in the global arena, Mr. Mudolo is the author of the forthcoming book “Africa On the Point of Change.” He is also pursuing a doctoral degree focused on Africa’s development. Through strategic partnerships, he has significantly contributed to the continent’s economic progress, successfully mobilizing billions of dollars for various governments. This achievement highlights his exceptional financial acumen and dedication to accelerating Africa’s development.

Mr. Mudolo’s vision for Zambia is one where natural resources are harnessed for the benefit of its people, where young individuals in both villages and towns can envision a brighter future, and where corruption is eradicated.
